With the huge amount of interest gathered for the UK County Championships, the tournament format has been drafted in order to try and accommodate for the large amount of counties and provide the best content and coverage throughout the event. Therefore, the format has been decided as follows:
The tournament will commence in the second week of July with 4 qualification single elimination brackets, with participants seeded to ensure each play-off is balanced. Each game will be a best of one, until the deciding quarter final games, which will be best of three. The top four from each bracket will then move on into the sixteen team, best of three, single elimination finals bracket, to be played out the week after.
For each of the qualification brackets, it is hoped that we may stream one game from each round. For the playoffs bracket, the stream will see one game from each round casted, both semi-finals and the final. This, however, is subject to caster availability.
The format and dates are subject to change and feedback for the dates and format are encouraged. We have purposely tried to leave time off for teams preparing to attend epic LAN.
County team submissions will open shortly and remain open until the end of June. After this, no team submissions will be accepted, and the teams will be drafted into their qualification brackets. It is recommended that teams have at least 6 players from their county to participate. If a team finds themselves short of one member prior to a game, effort must be made to ensure a substitute from your county can play. In emergency circumstances, one player can sub in for the team from a different county, however they must still be from the UK. Said player must also NOT be playing in a county cup team within the same bracket as yourselves.

Week 1: 4x Seeded Qualification Brackets (Top four commence) (bo1/bo3 semi-final)
Dates: 6th,7th,8th,9th July
Week 2: 16 team play-off bracket (bo3)
Dates : 22nd/23rd July
