epic22: The Elimination Bracket

With the group stage now over, the elimination stage of epic 22 is due to begin. The first round of best of threes in the upper bracket will take place tonight. Following that, the games will resume tomorrow morning at 10am.

Due to the way that the group stage unfolded, the first round of games in the upper bracket should contain some exciting matches.  The unseeded Opulent side will take on the Lynx in their first game, which will potentially an on-form non-seeded team against a less than polished London Lynx. However, on the flip side, it could be the best thing for the Lynx side, as had Opulent not been so successful, they could have found themselves up against tougher opposition.

Both CeX sides look set to face each other again in the second round should their first round games both fall in their favour, however with the form of DCeX the eDen eSports side might be too much for them to overcome.
