The ESL Premiership is back, and with a slight facelift. Sporting a new logo, name and focus on the inclusion of Eire in the tournament, The ESL Premiership is moments away from making its mark on 2017.
The qualifiers for the Spring Season of The ESL Premiership kicks off tonight with a Swiss-format tournament. The top 16 teams from tonight move on to tomorrow night’s double elimination tournament, where the top 8 teams will progress into the main event.
For this season ESL are ditching the “cash-per-win” scheme they known for running. Instead, they have split the prize pool so that all eight spots receive a cash prize at the end of the round robin stage of the league. The top two teams from the league will then be invited to the ESL studio in Leicester to take part in the live finals where another cash prize will be available.
