exceL eSports announce their new CS:GO lineup

by Archive

The past month since exceL dropped their previous roster, speculation has been rife on who the new line-up would be. Today the organisation has announced their new team.

The roster, currently competing in the ESL Premiership and UK Gaming Tours as “HEINZ.UK”, the line-up finally joins the organisation that the rumours had been circling around. Currently top four in both the ESL Premiership and the UK Gaming Tours, the organisation brings in a strong UK CS:GO line-up that’s set to make noise.

The organisation have also stated that the team will take part in Multiplay’s UK Masters tournament, as well as be attending LAN events of epic.LAN and Multiplay Insomnia i60.

Kieran Holmes-Darby, Co-Founder of exceL eSports, told us:

We’re extremely excited to bring this top team on board. UK CS is an area of growth and we’ve been looking to compete at the top of the scene for some time. This team will do that and bring championships with them!

According to the announcement from exceL their coach, Sliggy, will remain playing competitively alongside his coaching requirements for the roster. As he’s currently playing for fish123 in the ESL Premiership, it must be wondered how he will remain both coach and player in the same league.

The roster is:

Tom ‘Jenko’ Jenkinson
James ‘Kryptix’ Affleck
Josh ‘mole‘ Rowley
Jesper ‘Jesp’ Johansson
Mick ‘MCK’ McDonald
Connor ‘Sliggy‘ Blomfield (Coach)
