In August 2022, Clique returned to CS:GO by signing a roster that included notable UK names such as Fizan “Fizzy” Anjum, Morgan “m0g” Butler, and Lewis “Ziimzey” Coleman. Since then the team has brought in a coach alongside making roster moves which has resulted in steady improvement and them becoming the #10 team in the UKCSGO December Power Rankings.
In their last ESEA Main season Clique had an impressive record of 10-4 which meant that they made the playoffs. Clique found themselves one win away and able to taste promotion, but it was just out of their reach as they fell STRANGERS at the final hurdle.
Despite the growth that the team saw, they decided to bench Fizzy ahead of their Main season. According to the British rifler’s Twitlonger he was “benched from Clique due to a difference of opinions.” However, Fizzy is not done yet with CS:GO and is looking forward to the future. He told UKCSGO:
My plan for the future is to join another team and try to go further than I have so far with whichever team it may be in the UK scene.
Clique have begun their ESEA Main Season 44 campaign with Fizzy standing in and are currently 0-2.
Clique are now:
Lewis “Ziimzey” Coleman
Christopher “VireZ” Wegmann
Mohammed “Mophoria” Abbas
Elias “Rack” Karttunen
Sebastian “Wajk” Wikholm (coach)
