PhoenixUK returns this Sunday evening

by Archive

The new talk-show that aired back last month as part of epic.LAN’s new project the epic.STREAM Team, will return on Sunday evening to go over a wide variety of subjects from recent weeks.

The last show took place at epic.LAN looking at all the various teams at the LAN event as part of a “special”, and spanned the best part of two hours with special guests throughout the show from both the CS:GO Scene and Dota2 scene in the UK. The show if you haven’t watched prior to this week, is a talk-show which is dedicated around UK eSports and will focus on primarily that.

However this week will see the show move away from that for a portion of the show because it warranted a debate. For those of our readers on UKCSGO.com they may not have watched much of Dota2 but they may of been aware of the issues and the drama surrounding the Shanghai Major over the last week. It’s something which to most outsiders and even some of those in the Dota2 community would have been surprised around considering Frankfurt Major went without any hitches. The drama has been a big talking point and considering Valve’s name is plastered on the Majors in Dota2 it warranted a small portion of the show to be dedicated to it. Our panel will give their insight into the problems at the Shanghai Major.

Michael “MiCk” Hartley is on the panel again giving his insight.

The majority of the show will deal with the epic.LAN fallout, and what the events that transpired at the event means for the scene in general, so the panel will discuss the CS:GO Tournament in great detail, and whether it gives us any early indications on who could go on to win the title at insomnia57 later this month. We’ll also cover Dota2 & StarCraft2 tournaments in greater detail, and how either of those tournaments pan out for the wider UK Scene.

Tom “Gumpster” Gumbleton – Visual Host
Sonny “Herold” Neal – Stream Production & CS:GO Panelist
Michael “MiCk” Hartley – LoL Panelist
Mark “Crossy” Cross – CS:GO Panelist
