Team Endpoint find new player in form of HudzG

by Archive

Team Endpoint have today finally announced the news of who their illusive fifth player will be to join the squad. After a few months searching, looking at various standings, they have finally found the perfect fit for the team to help them in their quest for domestic domination and European pedigree.

After a decent performance and run at insomnia59 back in December with stand-in Swedish player, Jesper “Jesp” Johansson, Endpoint finally can get moving into 2017 with a fresh approach. Spearheaded by Ian “Immi” Harding, the team have been quietly trialling different players in the hopes of finding the right player. Today, they announced over Twitter, one of the UK’s finest players to join their ranks in the form of George “hudzG” Hoskins.

A former member of London Mint during the Championship Gaming Series, Dignitas, & mTw in the Counter Strike: Source days, George has been one of the most charming figures to grace our scene. Known for his acquired taste in making sure desks are at a good height, and mouse-mats are flat, George brings a wealth of experience to the team on the biggest stages in the world.

George featured for a short while in the former EZSKINS lineup in 2015.

George has been seen in the Counter-Strike scene for a very very long time, but some of his previous teams in CS:GO have been EZSKINS, fm-eSports, & Team Infused. With a busy schedule coming through this month with the qualifiers for both ESL UK Premiership & UK Gaming Tours set to begin, and UK Masters set to follow, it is a great time for the side to knuckle down and practice before they get going.

George had this to say to the Team Endpoint website:

Here we go again, after announcing my previous international lineup, 2 days into the project someone decided to leave. Unfortunately this pretty much killed all the plans we had in place with organisations and finding a suitable replacement. At the time of announcing our lineup it was something we were happy with, so we all decided to mutually end the project instead of trying to force something together. This was a really bad set of circumstances and we are all still in contact, as well as good friends. It was something that could of been avoided easily.

After all this happened I decided I still wanted to carry on playing CS, but try again in UK, as a lot of good leagues have been announced and I got presented with an opportunity to play with Endpoint. We were actually in contact before WCA China, but unfortunately I wasn’t able to join as my working hours prevented me, and I needed to sort a lot of things out within my personal life. I have known most the lads for a while now, especially immi since back in the cs:source days. I feel that they share the same ambitions and goals that I do.

Slotting into this already solid lineup means I can focus fully on my own game and try and reach the level I did in source. Hopefully this will be long and stable relationship and I hope that we can achieve everything we have set in place. For now our goals will be looking towards the ESEA Premier , UKGT , EPS and UK Masters. I am definitely looking forward to an all in schedule.

Team Endpoint will be next seen in action in the qualifiers for most leagues currently ongoing, although the team have stated they maybe forced to drop a league in favour of practising more. They will also be looking at attending as many offline events in the coming months too.

Team Endpoint’s roster is as follows:

Ian “Immi” Harding
Ben “Esio” Doughty
Max “MiGHTYMAX” Heath
Joe “Luzuh” Loose
George “hudzG” Hoskins
