We are pleased to announce that we are almost ready to launch the UKCSGO Weekly Tournaments. We announced that we started work on this after JGL closed its doors, and since then we are been working hard to get everything in order to keep these weekly tournaments alive.
We aim to start running the weekly events after iSeries, which takes place over Easter weekend at the NEC in Birmingham. In order to make sure everything runs smoothly for the official launch, we are setting up a 16 team benchmark tournament, and to see if we have missed anything.
We will be running the tournament in collaboration with Battlefy. We spent a long time looking round tournament sites to find the right site home for us, and feel that Battlefy offers the features we need in order to run our events.
You can sign up for our Benchmark Tournament over on our Battlefy page and find full information on the format and rules. We will be using our own servers for all our events which are setup with eBot to take the stress away from reporting scores. These servers have very kindly been given to us by a fast-growing game server provider, CRISPsrv who you should definitely check out if you are in the market for a game server. They have servers based in the UK, Germany and France to offer server locations to suit most people.
