ECS launch the Community Caster Challenge

by Archive

ECS, the eSports Championship League run by FACEIT and Twitch, have announced the Community Caster Challenge. The CCC is a effort by FACEIT and Twitch to get more grassroot community casters into the limelight, by offering them a chance to cast the ECS Season 2 games live from London

In order to make this possible, FACEIT and HLTV are teaming up to provide GOTV links to every game in the ECS Season 2 developmental league, so that any caster looking to enter this challenge can grab a game and start streaming. The developmental league will run from the 9th to the 19th of September and will feature the best upcoming teams that got through the open qualifiers against teams that have already proved themselves as the best like G2 and Fnatic.

ECS has kindly provided a graphics package for casters to use, along with sponsor advertisement videos for them to use in breaks. Casters must be either solo or part of a duo and must submit an application to ECS in order to join their team on Twitch.

More information can be found over on the ECS website http://www.csgoleague.com/2016/09/07/the-esports-championship-series-development-league-announces-community-caster-challenge/

The 2 top streamers will be invited to join James “JZFB” Bardolph and Daniel “ddk” Kapadia at the ECS studios in London during Season 2 to cast some games alongside them. This is a great opportunity for upcoming UK casting talent to show themselves to the world and get their name in the spotlight.
