epic.17 – Caster line-up revealed

by Archive

epic.LAN have today announced that in addition to the earlier news post of the prize pool being bumped for CS:GO at the event, that they will have a full casting line up to head to Kettering Conference Centre this weekend.

With the sheer amount of teams heading to epic.SEVENTEEN this weekend, there is a need for the production and casting to step up this event to help give the event a little more gloss. This event there will be the regular caster of Mark “Crossy” Cross who has been a stalwart to the CS scene in the UK for a very long time. Some may say too long, but Mark has often casted at events such as insomnia series and has recently been helping out epic.LAN for the last few events.

Returning to epic.LAN, is the newbie of the scene yet the famous Heather “Naysayerz” Dower who made her debut at epic.SIXTEEN in October last year. She is one of the Twitch streamers and can often be seen with Xsplit and other more notable companies within the industry. Heather did attend insomnia56 albeit with ASUS Republic Of Gamers for the weekend showing off some of her charm on the stream they had running during the event. Heather won’t just be on the CS:GO Stream, she will be helping out the LAN events own Joe “JoeShow” Styrka on the “Breakfast n Chill” show which will air each morning of the event for two hours covering the Breakfast time and what is specifically happening inside the event around that time.

Meanwhile, the ever so popular figure within the UK,  Neil “Neil_M” Murphy also comes to epic.SEVENTEEN as a Caster for the event, he will be there guiding the audience through the motions and giving valuable player insight to the stream. He will help do some pre-match interviews and post-match interviews on the stream to add to the content that the stream will put out at the event.

Finally the last caster to our line-up will be the ever so delightful JGL caster of Sonny “Herold” Neal who was at insomnia56 as a caster for the event. He also helps with the PhoenixUK talk show and will be helping deliver some quality casting on the stream as well as helping round up the tournament on the central stream at periodic times throughout the weekend.

We will be on site for all the event coverage, which takes place this weekend at Kettering Conference Centre, 18th – 21st February. We will have more content over the next few days citing what to look forward to throughout the weekend.
