Endpoint merge with VATIC

by Archive

Two weeks ago VATIC made it into the headlines again after another social media meltdown which escalated into the VATIC website being taken offline. In a comment from Mark “Crossy” Cross, we were assured that these two incidents were not related, and that all would become clear in the near future. Tonight Mark’s words came true as Endpoint announced they have acquired both the people behind the brand (Mark Cross and Matt Litherland), and VATIC’s infrastructure.

Running an esports organisation involves a lot more than simply picking up teams and aiming to achieve podium finishes at UK events. As a British gaming organisation, we have been working hard to buckle the status quo, and strengthen our brand in a number of areas. Because of this, it’s become extremely important that we continue to bring in the right people with certain skills and experience, and utilise them in the right areas to help us achieve our high ambitions. The UK gaming market is going through a period of huge exponential growth, and as a leading brand, we need to keep evolving in order to capitalise on that. We believe that bringing the VATIC guys on board is a massive step forward for Endpoint, as it will help us grow in key areas whilst strengthening our core offering. – Adam “Adz” Jessop, Endpoint CEO. This merging sees Endpoint become the dominant brand over VATIC, as well as VATIC’s old sponsors, DRKN and Xtrfy, joining the Endpoint lineup. It also appears they have adopted the long-awaited, and much anticipated VATIC store where, if they follow the same plan as VATIC, you will be able to buy branded merchandise, equipment, and apparel from their sponsors.

According to the new Endpoint website, their CSGO team is currently lacking one player, which they will no doubt be looking to fill before iSeries in two weeks time.

Endpoint CSGO is currently:

Ian “Immi” Harding
Ben “Esio” Doughty
Max “MiGHTYMAX” Heath
Joe “Luzuh” Loose
