UK Masters change map pool

by Archive

Last night Multiplay announced that they would be changing the map pool for UK Masters after the most recent update. They will be following the current map cycle for all Major competitions and removing Inferno to replace it with Nuke.

Hi everyone,

With the recent map update from Valve we have made the decision to make the following changes.
  • Removed map: de_inforno
  • Added map: de_nuke
This change will be in effect from now until the end of the UK Masters Season 1 tournament unless otherwise stated.
We wish all teams the best of luck in their upcoming matches
Kind regards,
Nuke was originally omitted from the qualifiers due to people suffering FPS issues on it, in some cases so bad it would make the game unplayable. However in a recent update Valve addressed this issue and notable increase in performance on the map has been noticed.
Are we finally going to see some games on this stunning remake of an old classic?

The UK Masters kicks off tonight at 7pm with the new Riot Gaming squad going up against Molotovs ‘n’ Marshmallows, followed by Orgless taking on Team Infused. Both games will be streamed over on the Multiplay Twitch channel.
