Final Teams Confirmed For ESL Premiership Finals

by Archive

After Fierce and Team Endpoint booked their place in the live finals, four teams did battle in the premiership playoffs.

Royals, Vexed, Wind & Rain and Pensioners battled it out for the two remaining places in the live finals. Vexed faced Royals for a spot while Pensioners took on Wind & Rain for the other spot.

Vexed v Royals

Vexed came out the door firing on all cylinders on Inferno, quickly wrapping up the game 16-6 to move on to Nuke for game two.

With the momentum fully in their favour, Vexed dominated Nuke, winning 16-0 to book their place alongside Fierce Esports and Team Endpoint in the live finals.

Pensioners v Wind & Rain

Could Pensioners secure the fourth and final place in the finals or could Wind & Rain pip them at the post?

Mirage kicked off with EmilShein scoring a crisp ace in the sixth round, thanks to some impeccable timing for the Wind & Rain rifler.

Despite the best efforts of Weber in round 10, Wind and Rain still held onto a sizable lead heading into the second half.

Wind & Rain maintained their control over Mirage to wrap up an impressive 16-3 victory before moving on to Dust2.

Wind & Rain were in fine form, displaying their proficiency with the scout to gain control of the A site to secure match point.

Inevitably, Wind & Rain rounded off Dust 2 16-3 to secure the last place in the Summer finals.

The Summer finals for the ESL Premiership take place in Leicester on July 28 where Vexed, Wind & Rain, Fierce Esports and Team Endpoint will battle it out to be crowned ESL Premiership champions.
