Stalwarts of the UK CS:GO scene Perilous Gaming are taking the dive back into the scene by adding Armchair Athletes to their roster.
Armchair Athletes themselves are coming off the back of a distinctly average recent Epic.Lan after not managing to make it out of inter groups after managing only one win, though, they did manage to break even with a 2-2 record in the main event groups.
We last saw Perilous at an offline event at Epic.Lan 18 where they placed 2nd.
Team captain, Joe ‘BeakZ’ Haynes had the following to say:
We are very happy to have been given the opportunity to represent PerilousFURY by Mick and the management at Perilous. We are aware of the history Perilous has within the Counter Strike community and this drives us to improve both as individuals and as a team. We are willing to work hard to achieve good results in both online competition and LAN Events to continue the success of Perilous in CS. Thanks again and see you all at i59!
This roster change also seems to point to some more news coming out of the Perilous camp in the not-too-distant future as they were quoted in their announcement saying:
We are hoping to bring more news soon with a PerilousRAGE roster as well as more activity from our core community players in various mixes throughout online and possibly offline competition
The addition of Armchair Athletes brings an exciting new roster consisting of:

- Hayden ‘Hayden’ Watson
- Ryan ‘yan0’ nash
- Connor ‘CayF’ Finan
- Howie ‘Sykes’ Sykes
